I have bet on countless of hands of blackjack. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of cash at 21. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
