I have played millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of funds at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 wager

Wager $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
